UPDATE: Parker, CO Chapter

Look at Marianne SEW! 90 bags in one week, wow! Super impressed with all these bags and such great fabrics. I know the recipients will LOVE them! Keep up the great work--Teresa

90 Bags!

This week I'm clearing clutter in my sewing studio using fabric leftovers from previous projects to make bags for the Green Bag Lady project Parker Chapter.

40 will be donated to a high school for teen moms. They have a great "Baby Bucks" store for the teens to shop in when they earn good standing academically. So shopping bags are always useful for the store.

I sewed another 50 ready for donation. I generally aim to get 200 bags a year made, so I'm well on my way for 2021! I placed 49 bags inside one bag so it's a bundle of 50 ready for donation.

This is a great way to use up fabric leftover from quilt projects and declutter my studio whilst helping save the Earth one bag at a time!
