5. Have used fabric bags for over 20 years. The usual rain barrels, CFL bulbs, composting, save shower water for the plants, buy organic, etc. I am dawnhenrichon(at)hotmail(dot)com. Your bags are adorable! Much cuter than most of mine!

6. I <3 my greenbag! I do all I can to help the environment. Just had hubby order another recycling bin from our garbage service. Have 3 XXL recycle bins and only one M bin for garbage. It's crazy how much stuff can be recycled rather than thrown out.

9. I read your article in Living Green. Loved it! My grandmothers and my mother sound exactly like yours. I am not quite as thrifty, but I do wash and reuse aluminum foil and ziplock baggies. :).

Your bags are so cute! Much nicer than the reusable ones I bought at Kroger.

Happy Thanksgiving!

30. I use cloth bags almost exclusively. If I forget them, I try not to take the store's bag (no matter if it's paper or plastic) unless I absolutely can not carry the items without it. I also have my boss give me her blue plastic bags so I can use them for my recycling (she loves getting rid of them).

First of all, I don't use plastic bags. That is because of your site. My sister made a fabric shopping bag for me. I don't use a car to avoid air pollution. I sort the rubbish. My biggest achievement is planting the trees with the schoolchildren I teach. Our trees are still small, but they will grow:)

Hello)I like everything connected with ecology and green consuming. As my school was ecological one I like to take a part in different events, meetings. Now I'm studying at university but I can't give up helping our Earth be healthier. I love a lot to do handmade especially from paper, to give second life for paper. Also in supermarkets I try to buy only goods that packed only in recycling package.

56. Hello! I read a lot of comments on this site. Frankly, I'm pleasantly surprised. It is wonderful that there are many people who care about our planet and the environment. I admit, in our country, the question of ecology and environmental protection is on the last place.
People are anxious about other matters: how to make money, how to feed a family to survive. And this problem is not only for today's the day. This problem was even 25 years ago. I think the name of the Chernobyl accident you know. What I want to tell you? That is the mentality. Ukrainians, unfortunately itneresed what is happening here and now ... There's no attempt to think. I think that environmental issues should be initially addressed at the highest level in the government. And the use of ecological bags - it is a necessity that you want to teach people. Knowledge about the environment should be laid in humans from early childhood, not only school programs, but also educating the parents. I just want to remind all those who are reading this comment, you need to do something to everyone, not to destroy our planet. Thank you for your attention.
