Vacation Sewing…

I can't leave home without some kind of sewing, can I? This (click to enlarge photo) is what I have been working on in the evenings and when foul weather hits (like today) I am now out of hoops though! The sewing machine and the G hoops are for a special little friend of mine who will be 6 in October. The rest? Who knows…
Little Girl wanted in on the sewing fun, isn't her little owl adorable?
 And how sweet is this little boat with the patchwork ocean…

    Talent is genetically inherited, I see.... By the way, how do you attach the felt (?) applique beside by some sewing? Do you use glue?:) (they're too cute I have to ask!)

    @Andri-- Everything is sewn on with embroidery thread and the stitching is done with embroidery thread too. I use 2 strands of the thread at a time. Thanks for the compliment!
