Dear Green Bag Lady Readers--
I have not been feeling very well for the last month and finally know why. I found out a couple of weeks ago that I have 2 brain tumors. That is the bad news. The good news is that they are not cancer and they are a kind of tumor called meningioma. They are very slow growing and it is possible that I have had them for a long time. I have a history of migraines and this could help to explain those.
Hubby and I went to see the neurosurgeon today. We are in the process of scheduling surgery to remove the large benign tumor that is in the Left Frontal Lobe. They are going to leave the other, smaller one alone as of right now and it will be monitored.
Good news is I won’t have to shave my head as I thought I might. Some hair near my hair line will have to be shaved, but not much. Good thing I have a high forehead! And, I guess I’ll have bangs for a while! I will keep you all informed when we have a surgery date.
If things are a little quiet here on Green Bag Lady you know why. Bagette Dad will be monitoring the blog and if I am not able will answer any comments or questions you have. I'll try to chime in as much as possible.
Thanks for any thoughts and prayers you would be willing to throw my way. Hugs and happy new year to all of you! Teresa
