Workday Wednesday

It's been a bit since I posted a WW. Seeing as though I was in California for 2 weeks, there was a slight lag in production. More on that soon!

Let's see, I made these cute pouches for a friend from her grandmother's shirts. She wanted them to give to her mom, aunts and cousins. What a great idea! You can't tell but they are made from polyester fabric so I had to stabilize them with interfacing before quilting and sewing them. I'm kinda in love with this idea though! Upcycling at its finest with memories attached to a loved one!
Another tennis bag for a  sweet friend. Crushing on that turquoise bottom!
And this cake. Oh, this cake. Paleo/gluten free even. From this cookbook.
A good time on a plate for sure.
That's my update for now. I hope you are happy and productive in your world! Teresa

  1. I also think that's a good way to repurpose a loved one's clothes. Great job.
