I am so very pleased to tell you about the newest chapter of Green Bag Lady! Minnesota! Yay! My good friend from high school, Lisa, contacted me a few months ago to ask how she could be involved with Green Bag Lady. I told her I would love to have a MN chapter and I immediately thought of Jen Madsen from Stitch Simple who we have collaborated with in the past (here and here and here). One email to Jen and she was all in. Love that.
Jen, Lisa and Bagette Dad (who lives in MN) are now meeting and making bags. How great is that? I can't wait to help out the next time I'm there. Great work all of you! Keep it up. Teresa
Teresa,Green Bag Lady MN met at Lisa's last night and we started production, with about 50 buckets from the two of them.
This is from my Phone, and I thought it would be a much better pix. Sorry.
We started by cutting handles that Jen had surged. Then we ripped fabric for about 30 bags for her to surge.
Lisa will will sew the tops/handles. I have 20 bags to iron tops/lables. They are shooting for 50 per month. WOW.
Bagette Dad
I am in MN and I was wondering where you meet? If it is anywhere near me I would like to join in.
