We got completely dumped on in the last 24 hours. Over a foot of snow! I think this is more than we’ve had all winter. ❄️ We sure need the water so no complaints. This gorgeous amaryllis bloomed yesterday. I love her. ❤️❤️❄️❄️ Teresa

Ready for Spring
Workday Wednesday
I'm pretty proud of myself for this one. We bought a nice wood futon from a neighbor for $25. The whole thing is in great shape except for the cover. It had clearly been washed and used A LOT. I knew immediately a new one was in order. First things first, I removed the 12 foot zipper from the existing cover to reuse. I didn't want to purchase a new zipper of that length ($$$!) and, it was just going to go to waste because Bagette Danny wants the denim to make bags. Then, I used the old cover as a pattern and picked out Harmony's GOREOUS organic cotton denim in Evelyn and Janette (available in my Etsy Shop) for the new one. It turned out great and so much nicer than the faded one. Yay! Teresa
Workday Wednesday
I've been checking a lot of things off my sewing 𧡠to do list lately:
1 & 2) Two sets of jammies for the littles that Ellica is a nanny for. It was the baby boy's first birthday a couple weeks ago. I fear they might be a bit big but at least there's room to grow! πΆπ» π
3, 4 & 5) Tennis theme GBL bags for the local high school girls team. I wasn't at the dinner but I hear they were a big hit! πΎ

Happy Friday! I hope you have had a good week. I'm completely thrown off on days due to Easter and other scheduling. I'm in the mountains hoping to get some sewing done, miles walked and tons of fresh air. You? XOXO--Teresa

My sister is here and we are going through old photo albums of our mother. This is just one of many amazing photos of her. Unfortunately, she passed away just shy of 65. She was the best of the best and I miss her every day. She taught me to sew and Green Bag Lady is dedicated to her (and now Bagette Dad too). Boy, do I wish they were still here. ❤️❤️❤️ Teresa

Photo Finish Weekend
As of Late
Hey there Green Bag Lady peeps. I hope all is well in your universe. I haven’t been on social media a ton but still at work making things like bags, artwork and fun seasonal ornaments like the Easter ones below. I’m thinking I’ll start some fun flower ones for spring. π I’ve entered new artwork in a couple exhibitions and just found out 2 were accepted to a museum outside Boston. Yay! I’m having so much fun making art again. Let me know what creative endeavors you have been up to! XOXO—Teresa ❤️π₯° πΌ️π§΅πͺ‘ π£π₯

Feeling like I’ve started 2026 behind on everything. π I just got our 2025 holiday photos/cards in the mail yesterday. Ha ha. My heart has been hurting for my home state of Minnesota. I’ve been playing tennis, sewing, and working on art (entered 2 juried exhibitions yesterday). I’ll share the pieces soon as one of them is about Bagette Dad. π’ Wishing you a beautiful weekend, we NEED snow!!!❄️❤️ Teresa
UPDATE: MINNESOTA, Moorhead Chapter
Everything about this is awesome! I love the "Potluck with a Purpose" idea. love that they made bags for a food pantry and, most of all, Bagette Jane is my sister and I love her to pieces, the fact that my niece (1st photo) was there to help too was an added bonus. Great job Moorhead, keep up the amazing work! XOXO--Teresa

Dear Teresa--
FMUU Church started the new year with a flurry of fabric. During our "Potluck with a Purpose," I helped friends and members make bags for our local food pantry. We worked together to make 15 totes in 2 hours helping both the planet and those in need. :)
Best--Bagette Jane, Chapter Coordinator, Moorhead, MN

Happy, Merry and Jolly to all! We are having a great holiday in the mountains. Dinner last night using my mom’s table cloth and a mix of my mom’s and aunt’s dishes. Jimmeny Christmas, is it December 19th already? I can’t comprehend where the time goes. I guess that week in Hawaii flew by and then there’s all the Holiday Booth events selling pouches taking up a hot minute too. It’s been so warm here in Colorado it doesn’t even feel like December. My last sale is tomorrow and then we are decorating cookies on Sunday. I hope you have fun plans for the weekend too. And yes, my family of adults does indeed have a Bluey blow up in our yard. π₯° XOXO—Teresa ❤️π€πππ π»π
