NEW FREEBIE! LEAVE A COMMENT!

In honor of going over 2000, we here at Green Bag Lady corporate have decided to do another freebie!

I have been making these produce bags for my bagettes and now I would like to share some with you! They are great for apples, oranges, bananas, beans, etc. Also, they replace those YUCKY PLASTIC produce bags provided by the grocery. And, they are much cuter! Yay, even LESS plastic bags!

Leave a comment at this post and "Queen Bagette April" will pick 5 lucky posters to receive 2 of these cute produce bags in the mail. Make sure you leave your email address so April knows how to contact you and get your snail mail address!

DO NOT EMAIL ME. I am not doing the picking, April will choose the winners from your COMMENTS. :) Thanks!

If you would like to buy some produce bags to reduce your use of plastic, go here or here.

Happy posting! Teresa

P.S. Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at midnight CST will end the posts for the produce bags , any posts after that are welcome but will not be considered for the FREEBIE!

P.P.S. Have no fear, I will post a produce bag pattern as soon as I can! Maybe during fall break! They are so very easy.

California Bag!

Teresa,

Thank you so much for my gorgeous vintage print bag Number 942!

I have used it regularly with my other re-usable grocery bags at all my favorite grocery stores here in Sacramento (yours is obviously the cutest!).

It is quite the conversation starter at the register because it is so cute, I always speak highly of your great idea that is spreading like wildfire over the internet.

I have found other non-groceries uses for it as well, including picking plums from our plum tree in our yard. Here is a picture my hubby took of me using your bag to pick plums for my delicious plum pie.

Keep up the good work!

Florida Bag!

Hi Teresa!
Sorry it's taken me so long to get this picture to you. (A little crazy around here with my twins!) Anyway, here's a picture of the twins and me at the "green market" down here in South Florida with bag #1453, filled with gator tail and fresh vegetables! Thanks so much!

New Freebie!

With the help of "Queen Bagette April," over 100 bags were put into envelopes today and are ready to ship out. I hope to get most of them in the mail tomorrow. The backlog is getting down. There are still about 200 envelopes waiting for bags. Soon. . .

I have come up with an idea for another give away. I will take some photos this week and make a post. There will be 5 lucky winners that will get something fun in the mail from Green Bag Lady.

Stay tuned and I hope you will enter the contest!

Vermont Bag!

Linda Miller of Vermont with bag in P-Town, Cape Cod. We had a picnic on the beach of lobster rolls and watched the sunset. Thank you for the bag. I use it all the time to bring snacks for the kids along to baseball, soccer and our weekend trips. I have also used it at the grocery store when buying a few items. It’s beautiful!

Arizona Bag!

Hello,

Here's a pic of me and my bag. It is great and extremely useful. I've used it for more than just groceries; it has become my goodie bag and goes everywhere with me. So much better than plastic.

Thank you. Colleen R.

New York and Maine Bags!

Teresa,

Back from Great Diamond Island, Maine, where I gave Bonnie her bag. She was blown away by it.

Again, thanks so much for the great gifts!!
