I LOVE it when young people get involved in Green Bag Lady. So important to not only pass on the useful skill of sewing, but the importance of being green too! Thanks Bagette Jessie, keep up the awesome work in Texas! :) Teresa

Hey there, hope you have had a good week and looking forward to the weekend. I'm leaving later on to go to a friend's cabin in Alma, CO. Excited! Looking forward to some girl time which includes a hot tub. :) Hope you have some fun plans to get out of the heat as well. Hugs to all! Teresa
Workday Wednesday
Hey all, hope this week is going well for you. I have 3 bridesmaid dresses screaming for attention in my sewing room but thought I would stop in here with a little check in before I start hemming.
1) made some bracelets for Little Girl's sorority sisters
2) made some little zip pouches for them too
3) look at these cute babies with their mama right in my backyard!
California Bag!
I love this photo. First, it's a "vintage" Green Bag Lady bag. Look at that number! 15579, and I can tell it is written in Bagette Dad's handwriting. Also, the bag is made from Harmony's own Sweet Jane fabric. YAY! Thanks for sharing Harmony! Got bag photos? Please send them to me so I can post here! :) Teresa
Photo and bag circa 2013. Bag number 15579.
Tomatoes picked at my friend Nancy's house, we never had tomatoes like that!

Couldn't resist taking this pic earlier this week. The moon and pink clouds, yes please! I hope you have had a good/productive week. I played (and won) 2 tennis matches, got lots of sewing done and will enjoy some some peeps and socializing this weekend. Hugs to all of you--Teresa
UPDATE: Berlin, GERMANY Chapter
I love everything about what the Berlin, Germany chapter is doing! Look at that little cutie with the Kindergarten bags! Adorable. Such great fabrics, so many events, lots of people involved. Keep up the awesome work Audrey and German Bagettes! WAHOO! Teresa
April: we offered sewing worksop for teens at local café during the Easter break
May: booth at the county botanical show in Beelitz
June: Sewing machine week at Dalink Stoffe in Berlin . This was coop with Brother and we sewed in the fabric shop. Got to meet the Brother salesman ...another good connection
June: Renate's group in Groß Kreutz had a booth at "Brandenburger Landpartie" open house at agricultural institute. Her group also meets regularly on monthy basis.
...and in our monthly sewing meetings we have been working on 100+ mini bags for Kindergarten children (Bagette Nadine and Christin have 3 year daughters in that Kindergarten). We average ca 8-10 bagettes at each meeting. After the mini bags we will be back onto regular size 😊
September we scheduled for the next "Apple Festival" in our community......

Workday Wednesday
Aside from bridesmaid dresses, pant hemming and summer dress reconstruction, I have been doing some other sewing.
1) Bagette Lori and I made 45 cheetah theme bags for a Cheetah Conservation event. LOVE the fabrics!
2) Made and sent 20 bags to Little Girl in Nashville for her to distribute to peeps. :)
3-4) Made a tiny special order stand up bag by request through Etsy.
5-6) One of the most popular fabrics ever in my etsy shop. I used all the rest of what I had to made these pouches. One large stand up and 5 medium. If you like Snoopy, get them while they last! :)
This Plant!
Oh my. I am LOVING this plant I got about a month ago. I was sashaying through the outdoor plant section at Walmart waiting for my EV to charge (I get 3 years of FREE juice at Electrify America charging stations!!!) and spotted (see what I did there) this girl! I could not resist grabbing her and almost hugging her and taking her home with me. Who could resist those polka dot leaves? She clearly likes her new home front and center on my "crazy plant lady table" as she has grown SO much in a short time. I may have to move her as she is starting to overshadow her plant sisters. Happy happy--Teresa

This week completely got away from me! I was never sure what day it was and now it's already Friday. I blame it on the Monday holiday. I did do a lot this week, sewing, tennis, running, etc. I hope you were more on top of things and have a great weekend. Hugs from Colorado--Teresa
