Over 500!

I'm over 500! Wow! I have many envelopes addressed waiting to be filled with bags. I'm sewing as fast as I can!

Go Cali! I love that states are charging for plastic bags! Some have a 5 cent refund to you per bag that you bring (fabric, of course).

Beth, why buy trash bags? We used the plastic in our trash cans as liners and our 11 year old had the idea of taking them to the larger trash can to empty...and reuse the plastic bag (unless it's dirty). Try that...

Also, we changed to clothe napkins that we use for clean ups too so no napkins or papertowels! Yea! A lot of our spending was paper products and water! Now we use Sigg bottles (www.mysigg.com) and bought a water filter for our kitchen sink ($30). GREAT savings! Use your fabric bag to bring home your items!!

My family all has Sigg bottles too, we love them. We ordered ours from Reusablebags.com also, I ordered lead free, washable lunch bags (brand is Mimi the Sardine) from them as well and really like them.
