You are a FABULOUS lady for doing what you are doing. I just watched the interview on my lunch hour while at work and was EXTREMELY interested in getting a bag from you, but alas I get back from lunch and you are not taking email requests anymore.

And.........if I could sew I certainly would but that is not an undertaking that is gifted to me....so I reckon' I'll just leave a comment on how wonderful your idea is and more of us (that can sew tee-hee) should follow in your footsteps to help our planet be more GREEN!!!!!!

Thanks for doing what you do!!

What a generous service. I will walk out with a few groceries in my hand if I forget to bring in my laminated totes rather than bring home plastic. Our stores do not offer paper.

The laminated ones such as Elizabeth Haub unfortunately do not hold up for long if you constantly carry heavy loads.

I saw your spot on CNN and also think what you're doing is so wonderful and inspiring -- this "pay it forward" philosophy is fantastic. If there is any way to have a bag sent to me, I will be sure to put it to good use when shopping. This is such a great way to protect the environment, and your bags look so much sturdier and easier to care for than the ones that most stores offer. My email is VHolleran@aol.com -- thanks -- you are a wonderful example to all, especially young peeople. I hated to hear about plastic bags being found floating in waters even as far away as Antarctica.

Hi! Just saw you on CNN at 11:45 PT and discovered that what you are doing for the environment is brilliant! I would love a bag to add to my "going green" collection since I am an everyday grocery shopper. I am a production assistant in film industry out here in sunny Santa Monica, California and we love going green. I bring my canvas bags everyday to shop and would certainly love one of yours to add. Plus I'll spread the word. Thanks so much! (Allen Mascari)

Hi,
I saw the CNN show today and was thrilled!! I am a military wife who is about to be relocated to Germany for 3 years. I have been told that they do use paper nor plastic there. My family and I will have no transportation upon our arrival so we will be riding bicycles back and forth from the grocery store. Your bags will be much of use to us. i would greatly appreciate it if we could recieve a bag to help us in our journey around the world. Thank you houstj2002@yahoo.com (Army Wife)

I was thrilled to see someone who cares so much. I wish that I could sew, since this would be a wonderful way to give back something.
We are fortunate that our Publix has a recycling bin for our plastic bags, and it always seems to stay full. I have invested in the bags that they sell, as I cannot stand plastic bags. They also have ones that are lined to keep the food cold.
I wish I had material that I could send you, but I will pass the word around to others. Keep up the good work.

Hi. I'm a seventh grader and we are to do a Project for the community and I was thinking of making bags to encourage people to quit using plastic. I see a pattern but was wondering if you had any more bags I could use as an example. My moms email is bondo6 at sbcglobal.net
Thanks for the inspiration.kp
