Bongo World recently teamed up with the Green Bag Lady to complete the greening of our employee holiday party. The theme of this year’s annual blow out was “Going Green,” and featured biodegradeable cutlery, recycled napkins, green prizes (cash) and an award for the greenest outfit. The fabric we used for our table cloths was turned over to the Green Bag Lady who turned them into bags.
Bongo World is committed to becoming a greener company. All our coffee is Certified 100% organic and 100% Fair Trade; all our stores have recycle programs; and our coffee bags are biodegradeable (which is very unique in the industry).
Bongo World is made up of Bongo Java (near Belmont University), Fido (Hillsboro Village) Bongo Java Roasting Co. (East Nashville), Bongo Java East (East Nashville) and Grins Vegetarian Café (Vanderbilt University campus).
