It's raining. . .

petals! What a site in our yard from my favorite tree. . .

they were everywhere. . .
we skipped in them. . .
threw them in the air. . .
and made petal angels in them.

Take a look, this is why I can't knit. I am all thumbs with yarn. My sister got all the knitting genes. She is visiting for Easter and this is her daughter. . .
I saw this top on another blog and sent it to her. Our mother had a thing for watermelon items. I told her she HAD to make it for her daughter. You can do that with little sisters, you know, tell them what to do (knit) and all. Hey, I embroider for her so we are kind of even. :)
The pattern for the watermelon top is free and you can find it here.
I hope you had a good day. Ours was truly lovely, 80 degrees, the petals, the park, the sister, the niece, Big Girl's friend, the popcicle store, I am thankful for all! Teresa
