Fairy Gardens. . .

We have been busy around here trying to get plants in the ground, pots and baskets. I saw this in the fall and tucked it away in my head for this spring. I was so glad to pull it out and make them with my kids and the neighbor girl (Little Neighbor). It is also a green project. I already had the pots. I found the houses and fairies while thrifting. Most of them were a dollar or less.

Pieces of broken pots were used for drainage rocks as well as the "paths" to the houses.

Make them, kids love it and it's really fun. My kids keep playing with theirs and changing them around. Thanks for the great project idea from THAT ARTIST WOMAN aka the amazing Gail. She has a ton of great ideas on her site. Keep your kids busy this summer!  Teresa
