We taught her to wiggle waggle on command. So she wiggles her stub of a tail and waggles her whole furry back end. Our friends think it is quite funny to watch. Take care.

Something funny about my spouse, well that should be easy. He is hilarious everyday. For instance, everyday he arranges my stuffed animals on my bed in different positions (family). When he brings me a hostess cupcake, it puts it on a plate with drizzled chocolate. He always pretends he lost his contact using the code lid. He blows on his sock before it on, as if it is a balloon. He keeps me in stitches, and we've been married 30 years, just laughing our way through. I'd love to have one of your bags. Thanks so much.

When I saw the post about bag number 12,000, a few days ago, I was going to email you and ask you what I had to do to get that bag! I love it, for the design and the number! I was driving one day and looked down at my odometer and was about to hit the 100,000 mile mark on my car. I actually pulled the car to the side of the road when it hit the magic number so that I could take a picture. So that is my weird, fun thing :)

Love the bags.

My funny comment - my dog just figured out this morning how to use the cat door to get into the laundry room. We've had him 3 months and he's seen the cat go in and out but now he's figured he can too. Bad thing is all of my fabric is stored in the laundry room and he found some fleece and decided it was a chew toy. Oh the fun of having a puppy.

What a cool project! I only use my own bags.

My funny snippet besides being a freak-a-zoid recycler (we recycle toilet paper rolls...) is that I "wove" a tent from I can't remember how many plastic grocery bags in Dave's intro Sculpture class. I have an old slide, but the image isn't online anywhere.

The funny part was when I took the whole contraption to the grocery store insisting on putting it in the recyling bin.

jnewberry329(at)aol(dot)com : I love that you are giving out these bags. What a wonderful impact on the environment. My funny story is that over the summer I have been trying to potty train our 3 year old daughter. Well she refused to go to the potty and I was really getting frustrated. One day when I let the dog go outside she followed him. Not only did she strip naked and pee in the yard, but she walked in circles like he did and POOPED in the yard. She came running back inside and asked if I was proud of her? What else could I say but yes I was. And I should have been trying to housebreak you instead of potty train you.

We have a cat named Ninja, who loves to sneak attack you around corners. He will jump on his back legs and jump as you are walking to "attack" you, which is basically a jump off your legs and takes off running. He has brought so much laughter to our house as crazy as he is.

Teresa, I have one of your fabulous bags from back when you came to our Vandy Moms meeting a gazillion years ago (seems like!). Since then, we have invested in our own stash of reusable bags from various places, which my children have decorated with Sharpies...and now they have made stashes of bags for my mom and sister as well. I even went to my oldest daughter's Girl Scout meeting and taught them how to make their own bags! Love that you are still doing this. :)

I have been known as the "recycling queen" in my family and church for years - even have a cap I made up for presentations about recycling - I usually pin recyclable items on a sweater too, must admit, it looks pretty silly, but brings attention to everything that can be recycled, including used postage stamps, coupons, etc. charwoodatjunodotcom
