We had a busy day yesterday. First we went to The Big Stitch at Fifty Forward and gave out bags to fifty people, who were busy knitting and crocheting items for special causes. These causes ranged from blankets for seniors, hats for babies, etc.
Putting the bag to good use right away!
Then, we went to Bob Bernstein's house that is under construction. The cool part is that they are using straw and plaster for insulation. Isn't that great? Many volunteers have helped with this project. We were there giving the workers bags to help thank them for their efforts. Bob is the owner of Bongo Java which is one of our fabulous sponsors! I can't wait to see the finished house! It's just 2 blocks from mine.
