Happy Mother's Day FREEBIE! (Organic '11 Freebie #8)

What is better than a Mother's Day present straight from Mother Earth? Look at these little beauties below. They were made by the very talented and wonderful Ling Yen Jones. I heart Ling Yen. I heart her jewelry. I met her almost 2 years ago on my first trip to visit Harmony. I saw her in California this past weekend and we hatched an idea for a freebie. She went home and made them the very next day! Just in time for Mother's Day. How lucky are we! Er, you (if you win)…
FOUR lucky people will win one of these one-of-a-kind charms. The two on the left are abalone shell and sterling silver. The two on the right are river rocks with holes courtesy of Mother Nature and sterling silver. A leather cord is included with the charm. However, these would look great on your own sterling chain! Be still my heart, they are so lovely…

Here is what you need to do to win:

•LEAVE A COMMENT, IN THE COMMENT LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN THIS FORMAT: name(at)something(dot)com it is important to spell out dot and at so you don't get spam, if you DO NOT leave an email address, we will not hunt you down to send you a freebie, thanks.

•In your comment, tell us your favorite Ling Yen piece!

•Do a blog post/email/facebook/twitter about the freebie or become a follower of the Green Bag Lady blog. If you do, leave ANOTHER comment with your same email address for a second chance to win.

DEADLINE TO LEAVE A COMMENT FOR THE FREEBIE IS 10pm (CST) MONDAY, May 9, 2011.

FOUR people will win one of the charms pictured. HOWEVER, anyone that enters that DOES NOT have a bag, will get a FREE SHOPPING BAG from Green Bag Lady. Enter, what have you got to lose? Teresa

PS, International OK to enter!
PPS, Happy Mother's Day Mother Earth! :)

Thanks Ling Yen and green Bag Lady for doing this giveaway. I've met Ling Yen at some craft shows that we've both done. She's so cool. I love all of her work, but if you make me choose my favorite, right now it is the C'est Cheese bracelet. Simple, sophisticated, but with a touch of humor. fleurette7 at yahoo dot com

My favorite Ling Yen freebie is the abalone designs, such beautiful, natural colors! I met Ling Yen years! ago at a boutique in Carmel and loved her and her jewelry sooo much that I invited her to stay with me while she attending the Santa Monica show and we've been friends ever since :-) I wear her unmentionables "face" ring practically every day and save my crane necklace for special occasions!

I love Ling Yen's lapis necklace with the 2 cranes. It is hard to have a favorite because everything is beautiful. Congrats on all you are doing to remove the plastic/styrofoam, etc from our environment. I do not use plastic bags ( I don't have one of yours - just found you on the internet ) I collect plastic bags from friends and neighbors and make market bags from them. I figure I keep 500-750 bags a week out of landfills. They are the best bags for fresh fruit and veggies from the farmers market. When they get dirty - just hose them off outside. Works great!

I love Ling-Yen and her jewelry. While I have the cranes, my favorite is the Unmentionables necklace and earrings. It is quite the conversation piece.

I would love to win something free from Ling-Yen or the green bag lady.
