I heart sewing. However, there are some parts of it that I do not particularly enjoy. Here are a few:
--cutting out patterns, either from the paper or on the fabric (I'm too antsy, I just want to get to the sewing part!)
--sewing in zippers, I'm getting better though!
--ironing, of any kind, bleh
--winding bobbins, I go through lots of bobbins, especially when sewing on handles
This last one drives me nuts. I can't stand having to stop a project just to wind a bobbin. My solution? Many, MANY bobbins. But this means that about once a month I have to wind them ALL. This monthly event occurred last night. Do you think a six year old is too young to wind bobbins? Maybe I should train him…
Look at all my crazy bobbins…
I buy these big spools from Joann's when thread is on 50% off…
I sat at the machine for about 1/2 hour and this is what I have now…
Look how happy they are!
Yay! Teresa

lol...oh my...glad to hear that I'm not the only one that has "issues" with bobbins ;) LOVE your sugar dishes for holding the bobbins...so cute and it makes me actually like them...a little bit ;}
The sugar dishes make me like them better too! One of the reasons that they live there.
It is nice to know that I'm not the only one too Roberta!
