I was more of a Holly Hobbie girl :)
In fact, it was the Holly Hobbie style that influenced the very first embroidery kit I ever did, when aged about 12 or 13 in about 1971/2. I bought a picture of a Hummel little boy which is a similar style. You can see him at:

I first remember Howdy Doody and Captain Kangaroo. When I was 7 I got a Raggedy Ann doll that my mom made, and a Raggedy Ann book for Christmas. I still have that doll and book they are 54 years old.

Well I had a Holly Hobbie lunch box, and a huge Raggedy Ann doll that my grandmother made for me. I still have the Raggedy Ann doll in a cedar chest. Like some of the others I also had a Rainbow Bright, that my younger daughter now plays with and some My Little Ponies. I had one of the original cabbage patch dolls and I still have her somewhere. I also have my first doll, which was a Fisher Price doll, that my Pop Pop gave me when I was born, my sister ripped her arm off years ago, but I sewed it back on.
