Harmony's Blankie…

Linus has a new rival in dear sweet Harmony. The Bagettes and I made her a quilt. This is not any ordinary quilt, but one made from clothes Harmony wore as a kid. She sent the clothes to my Little Girl a while back but she outgrew them. I didn't know what to do with them and could not stand to send them to Good Will. They were too precious. It hit me to make a quilt from them and I mentioned it to the Bagettes one Sunday. They thought it would be great if we all made the squares. YES!

This is Little Girl in the dress a couple of years ago right after they arrived…
This is what the clothes became…

The quilt is backed and bound with Harmony's own Garden cotton sateen. It turned out great and she loves it. She sent me these photos today…

The photos are of Harmony and her husband at Bowling Ball Beach in CA. They were celebrating their anniversary. I'm glad the quilt got to help make it festive! :) Happy Anniversary you two! Teresa and all the Bagettes

I am speechless. I truly can't get enough of it! It's the first thing I put on each morning! The Hood it the trick for keeping it on as I work, run up and down the stairs, and even go to the beach! THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! I am taking 2 road trips and it is going with me on both.

It's hard to keep from tearing up I am so touched by your thoughtfulness and generosity!

It was a great day indeed!

Harmony LOVED having her blanket with her today and it kept her warm & cozy while we watched the the sun rise.

Thanks for everything that you and the rest of your family of banquettes do....we are honored to be on your team.

We exchanged new vows again this morning and Harmony said YES to marrying me!

I am a very lucky man and it is indeed a great day!

Awwww, thanks Deidrea!

I wish I had been able to have one of your gowns when I had my babies, sadly you weren't making them yet!
