Earth Day will find me doing what I usually do: organic gardening, not driving a car cuz I live in town and can walk, eating local organic foods, recycling my waste, and giving thanks to our earth mother for all she gives us!

We do a number of things to honor Mother Earth in my kindergarten class. I teach in a school where over 90 percent of my students are First Nations or Metis. We often do a round dance to celebrate Mother Earth's gifts. A school elder talks about Mother Earth and the importance of earth, air, fire and water. We will also continue to reinforce the importance of recycling and reusing materials. Thanks for the chance to win another win of your great bags. I have one that I use all the time. Your winner will love your bags.
Regards from Alberta,
Anna

Our Earth Day is not as popular as it is valid in the United States. Yet the traditions associated with this day in our family is. April 20 we will come to the yard to clean up their area of debris that remained after the long winter. And join the community, which in this day will be to paint and decorate the benches near the park. I believe that Earth Day is a very useful holiday. He teaches adults and children love the environment, to be more neat and responsible and to call other people to do.

In our country it's a time of spring appearance. Winter lives us with its snow and cold. During winter, streets gain dust and garbadge, and all people during these first spring warm days try to clean the streets and parks to make it cleaner and more beautiful. I am sure me and my friends will go to such meetings to collect the garbage and breath the fresh air of spring and sun! Thank you for such task, Teresa, and for your work to make our planet clean and safe
