Asheville is a model of eco-friendliness so most market goers at Asheville City Market had their bags with them, but we definitely converted a few! We gave away 90 bags to many happy recipients. They loved the idea of fabric bags and repurposing fabric in that way. They cheered on our efforts and were glad to hear about us. The manager said he’d be happy to have us again (he was across from us, and I think was impressed by how popular we were and happy the customers were with their new bags)!
