In the kitchen…

For the past couple of years, this has been my favorite scone recipe. So yummy. They turn out like this. So good, trust me.
Then, on Saturday morning I tried the new pumpkin scone recipe from Joy. Trust me. These are ah-ma-zing! I left out the pecans. Although I love them, I knew my kids would pick them out. So sad. Take the time to brown the butter. Oh my. Your lips will thank me (and Joy) your hips will not.
Yes, I did make BOTH on Saturday. I'm crazy in that way. I also doubled the pumpkin recipe and tripled the cranberry one. Again, crazy. I like to freeze them for later. Make some, I dare you. Teresa

these look so delicious. I used to bake like that and freeze also. Now its just my husband and I so I don't bake quite the amount at once.

Lori--I'm sure that will be the case one my kids are gone too. I used to make just one batch but they were gone so fast and everyone was upset. Now, I make so many they get sick of them! Ha!
