Hi Teresa, Today, I donated 2 new Scrappy Nappy Pet Beds made by The Green Bag Lady project to the Longmont Humane Society in Longmont, Colorado. They were so happy to receive the soft padded beds and said they would use them for older dogs who really appreciate and need the extra padding on the concrete floors of the facility.
While at the humane society, the gal at the front desk told me that they took in over 300 animals from Lyons, Colorado after the flood this September. They currently have about 40 animals left and are looking for foster homes for them until their families can take them back home.*******************************************************************************************
FYI, Barbara and her husband live in Lyons. They have been temporarily displaced from their house. They are renting an apartment in the surrounding area and hope to move back home in a few months. The flood hit hard in the Boulder/Longmont/Lyons area of Colorado.

That's so great that the Green Bag Lady could help out with the pet beds! Not a scrap goes to waste at the Green Bag Lady's house!
