Girl Scout Earth Day Bags

This Earth Day was extra special because I got to host a super cute troop of Girl Scouts at my house to make bags! It was so fun and the girls made such cute bags. I had the bucket part of the bag sewn and the girls picked out and sewed on the handles. Many of them had never used a sewing machine before. Then, they used fabric markers to add their own flair.
The troop leaders and I walked the girls through sewing on the handles.
They didn't need any help when it came to decoration.
 How cute are these bags???

 Love them!

Aren't they darling? They are all in the same grade as Little Man at school. He thought it was crazy his classmates showed up at our house. What a happy Earth Day! Teresa

What a great group of girls! It looks like there are some future artist in the bunch! It was great that you introduced a couple of girls to a sewing machine! Very sweet of you hosting them!
