Sip-N-Sew!

Last week I hosted a little event at my house I called Sip-N-Sew. You see, we needed to borrow additional machines for the Earth Day Girl Scout event (post to come) so we put a post on our neighborhood Facebook page and got a wonderful response. Nine machines within a hour! We had the ladies bring their machines (and some wine), we set them up and sewed bags! We had a blast!
 The ladies with their bags…

Evidence of the "sip" part of the evening…

Everyone walked away with 2-3 bags and lots of smiles and laughs. I made many new friends that evening and even gained a couple of new helpers for Green Bag Lady Colorado! Yippee!

We left all the machines set up so they were ready to go for the Girl Scout event that I hosted yesterday. It worked out perfectly! Tereas
