It's back to school time already. WHAT!?! Didn't summer just begin? That's what it feels like around here. Truly, it seems like June. Where did July go? And, we are 1/3 of the way through August. What is happening? It is just me, or do you feel this way too?

I used to love getting school supplies for my kids but now they are all grown so this year I adopted a family and shopped for them!

I am an adult student who is slowly earning a science degree one class at a time. Often times life interferes and I don't take a class for a year or more. My favorite thing about going back to school is the sense of adventure when starting a new class. It's a new beginning, filled with hope and promise and eagerness for the feeling of accomplishment at the end of the semester. If I win one of these bags, I will send it to my niece, a teacher whose dedication extendes this same excitement to her own students each school year.

Oh my, my favorite thing about school? Being able to have some "me" time. Seeing their excitement about going back to school and seeing friends. Love teaching them to take responsibility for themselves, getting dressed, making their lunches, etc.
