Workday Wednesday

This was a weird week. I still am reeling from the fact that it is almost over. My kids went to school on Monday and it started to snow later on in the afternoon. By morning on Tuesday we had about 16 inches of snow. School was cancelled and the kids were over the moon! But, it threw me off. Tuesday seemed like a weekend and then wham it's Thursday, what?

I did get some fun things done while nestled from the storm in my sewing room. :) For starters, I have been wanting to do pouches of some kind with my accumulation of neon yellow zippers. This lunch tote and little pouch fit the bill nicely…

Neon fabric on the inside too…
A bit of neon ribbon for the tab…

What do you think? I felt the fabric had to be neutral with all the bright going on.
And, I have a pile of new pouches in progress. Some fun new fabrics!
And, I finally cleaned out my sewing room. It was bad. Very bad. In the process I did some freebie fabric organization. Here is a peek…

How about you? What's happening in your world? Productive hugs from here! Teresa

Thanks JoAnn, glad you are enjoying some nice weather! We have had a lot of snow this winter and it has been sticking around. Usually, it melts within a day or two. The skiers are happy!
