Workday Wednesday

This was one of those weeks that had so much going on, I was always on the wrong day. I kept thinking that it was the next day. Yesterday, I swore it was Thursday.  Happy thing, I got to play tennis today for the first time in 3 weeks. A bit of an arm issue that is now great!

Sewing: About a month ago, one of my neighbors asked if I made costumes. I told her I could try. She really wanted to be a snow cone for Halloween. There is something SO fun about making costumes, they don't have to be perfect! Here it is. She has one of those giant clown wigs to go with it and promised to send me a photo of her in it, can't wait!
Her daughter wanted to be a Venetian Carnival Lady in all pink and purple. I spent some quality time with my much neglected glue gun making her a hat and wand, she already had the mask.

I also whipped her up a skirt and cape. She has a leotard, tights etc.  I have to admit, I didn't know how this would go, but I think she will look darling. She's 5 so I'm sure looks darling in everything!
I wanted to try using interfacing in a pouch so made a quick, very funky one from scraps. I'm on the fence, I like that it is stiffer than batting, but that's what I don't like about it too. Will have to think about this.

 Even the interior is funky…
I voted! Looking forward to this CRAZY election being over.
Big Girl submitted applications to 3 more colleges. Doesn't seem real.
How has your week been? Have you been on the wrong day too? Please say it's not just me. :) Teresa
