Bagette Leyla

Photo from THIS visit to Nashville.
It is with heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of one of my bagettes. Bagette Leyla (second from left) was a lovely volunteer in Nashville. She was kind, sweet, loving and willing to help all that she could. Unfortunately, Leyla had complications at birth that caused seizures and somewhat hampered her brain function during her life. She hit her head during a recent seizure, had surgery but never woke from a coma. She passed away peacefully last Thursday. Good bye Leyla. I will always remember your smile, your hugs and your warm heart. Rest in peace. Teresa

I remember working with Leyla when I visited Nashville. We were cutting handles or labels and would tease each other who had the easier job. Then we would switch jobs, and do it again. She just wanted to be helpful in any way she could. BD

Please accept my condolences. Often , God takes who he needs in heaven. And gone is always alive as long as we remember them!
