This week I made some long over due pet beds. They are already gone and donated to some needy furry friends…
I'm working on a tennis bag for a friend out of these fabrics. It's going to be so cute!
Wrapping bagging presents for the church gingerbread tree (and made some additional Christmas theme bags to donate as well). And, yes, one of the tags we got was a 16 year old girl asking for a
sewing machine. Be still my heart. She asked for a "kid" machine but I upgraded her to a
decent one. In my experience, those cheap kid ones are terrible and
discourage sewing rather than encouraging it. Arg. Don't buy them, invest a little more in something decent.
Last, I made a burp cloth and gift bag for a friend that had a baby…
Of course, I also sewed handles and bags but am sparing you those boring pics. What are you up to?

I love Workday Wednesday! It's always fun to see what you're sewing. How lucky is the girl who is getting the sewing machine?! Wonderful!
As alway, you are getting so much done! Sure hope the girl getting the sewing machine really likes it and catches the sewing bug!
Aw, thanks April. I hope she likes it too!
That is the hope Tami! Inspire the next generation!
All you're doing just great !!! Good luck in the future!
Your pet beds are really amazing. And the tennis bag so cute.
The sewing machine for 16-year old girl is perfect as for me. My 6 year old daughter often asking me about a children sewing machine - and I want to present her this as a New Year gift. :)
All that you are doing is really great.
Thanks Panda!
Barbara--
Thanks. Just make sure you get a decent sewing machine if you are going to buy one. The cheap ones are extremely frustrating for kids and adults. I have had 2 of them and they were both terrible. My daughter got one when she was small and it kept jamming and messing up. I am so happy with the less expensive Brother brand machines I have. I LOVE Elna of course but they are more money.
very nice! :)
Я люблю эту сумку и этот цвет:)
Thanks!
