Guess what we did today? 11 people decorating 100+ cookies. What’s more fun than that? Happy weekend to all! πŸ’•πŸ’•—TeresaπŸŽ„❤️πŸ’šπŸ₯°πŸŽ

Trip to Netherlands Part 3

Our first day in Ingeborg's town of Ruurlo we got to tour (and help move the top that rotates to catch the wind) of their local windmill which is a sawmill. Fascinating! Bagette Dad would have LOVED to see that. We were treated to an escape room on Friday night with the whole family! πŸ˜€ On the day before we left we got to go see and hear the Winter Horns that are popular in December. Ingeborg gave me a beautiful sewing machine ornament that is now on my tree AND she made me a really cute pouch using the embroidery machine her sweet husband, John, bought for her. There is so much more, I could go on for days but to put it simply, we had an amazing trip. If you are thinking of going to The Netherlands, it gets 5 stars from me! XOXO--Teresa πŸ˜πŸŒ·πŸ‡³πŸ‡±⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Trip to Netherlands Part 2

A day trip to with Margaux and her friend AnneMarie (from Germany) whom she knows from this past summer Girl Scout camp. Zaandijk is a lovely town that is frozen in time. We got to see many windmills, tour one that grinds pigments for painting, a chocolate factory, a cheese shop and witness wood shoe making. the next morning was the Van Gogh Museum and then Bagette Ingeborg picked us up and whisked us off to Gouda for the day. We went to a stroopwaffle factory and the Gouda Cheese Experience.  This is a country after my heart and stomach! :) Teresa

I had so much fun in Holland with Big Girl last week. I gat to hang out with Bagettes Ingeborg, Dieuwertje and Alicia (from Nashville who now lives in Holland). So GREAT to see all of them. Ingeborg was the hostess of the mostess for 4+ days of fun, laughter and yummy food. I’ve been playing catch up this week but it was worth it!πŸ’•❤️πŸ‡³πŸ‡±

Trip to The Netherlands! Part 1

The Sunday after Thanksgiving Big Girl and I embarked on a lovely trip to Holland. Such fun! We spent 3 nights in Amsterdam, the first night there we went on a Canal Cruise and got to see the Festival of Lights which is lighted sculptures in the water. The art head in me was geeking out. The next day we walked around Amsterdam, toured the Rembrandt Museum, Anne Frank House and the Heineken Factory Experience. I'm not a beer drinker but it was cool anyway. :) I'll continue more in subsequent posts. Hope you are all well! Teresa

UPDATE: THE NETHERLANDS, Oost-Nederland

What fabulous bags Baguettes Ingeborg and Dieuwertje made and took traveling! I'm sure all the people and Uganda loved them! Thanks for all the great photos, keep up the great sewing!

Side note, I get to go see Ingeborg when I travel to Holland next month. YAY! Teresa

Hi Teresa,

When I visited Uganda, I made 45 Greenbags with Dieuwertje. They all had animals that live in Uganda on them and I embroidered Uganda on them.
People loved them!

The Colorado sky has been a royal showoff these last few nights and I can't get enough of it. I have been in the midst of craziness due to craft fairs. Fun, but exhausting. I hope all is well in your world. I'm looking forward to crawling into bed. Have a lovely weekend--Teresa

Hey There

Hey peeps. A bit of radio silence over here. Lots going on: I’ve been sewing tons to get ready for holiday craft fairs. We had an election in this country recently, have you heard? My area of Colorado got dumped on with almost 2 feet of snow last week, lots of shoveling. And, I pulled the trigger on something I’ve been thinking about for 6+ months. I’ve decided to stop doing alterations. It was getting to be too much and I want to get back to doing something I love, creating art. I already have some pieces in the works and it feels soooo good. Sending you peace and love—TeresaπŸ’™πŸ’š

More Plant Lady

Agnes the zygote cactus is bursting peachy floral goodness all over my dining room. She's one of my fav plants, don't tell the others. And, for the first time this year I brought my mandevilla (rocktrumpet) and large hibiscus inside. I'm going to see how they fare over the winter. Anyone do this? Do they survive inside? I'm sure enjoying the indoor eye candy! :) Teresa

Nashville Bag Checking In!

I love that Alice sent me this photo of a bag from the very beginning of Green Bag Lady. I can also tell that Bagette Dad wrote that number on the label too. Thanks Alice for the trip down memory lane! And, yes, that bag was most likely from 2008. :)--Teresa

I may have had this for about 15 years now, but thought you would get a kick out of seeing it is still in use.
