I was contacted today by Jordan of
Blueprint Crafts. She is having a green sewing month on her blog. Every day she will feature a project made from scraps or recycled fabrics. The first shirt dress tutorial is really cute, she made this one from a mens shirt. You can see it on her
blog.

Also, another site for these cute dresses made from mens shirts is
here on Dana Made It. The pattern for the dress below is
here.

We have made bags from old men's shirts (you might remember the one below from
this post), but nothing as cute as these darling dresses. Little Girl wants one now. I told her we would raid Daddy's closet. I'll let you know how it turns out!

Finally, go check out
Clever Girl and her adult mens shirt refashions, some of them are simply amazing! Teresa

Teresa, I made the dress too :-) I got a shirt from Goodwill for .99 cents and I made the dress today. I've been cutting fabrics for the bags too. I will start a bag tomorrow. Here's the dress I made http://clairebakescakes.blogspot.com/2010/03/men-shirt-turned-into-girls-dress.html Thanks for sharing Dana's site.
A little girl's dress from a men's shirt! What a great idea! Arlene
