No Emissions Saturday. . .

I so LOVE days when I don't have to go anywhere and I can get things done around the house. It is also lovely, just lovely, to not have to get up and run out the door in the AM. We have had such a busy October that I needed today. Badly. What did we do?

After breakfast, we took down all the Halloween decor. . .
and broke out the turkeys. . .
and kept some pumpkins out. . .

And, I organized some things, and sewed, and cleaned a little, and sewed, and helped the kids make beaded jewelry, and sewed. I even made Harmony's Christmas present, shhh, don't tell her. This is how crazy my sewing room looked, it looks even worse now (I'll spare you). I'm going to pretend it looks like this.
It's amazing how much you can get done at home on a Saturday. I love it. I hope yours was equally as nice. Teresa

Great sewing room! I noticed the jars. Where did you get them? They seem very handy.

All the glass jars are from WalMart. I think they have a slightly different style now. Even the little jars with the ball at the top are from there and hold my bobbins. I think they are sugar bowls. The printed jars are from Target and they were in the Liberty of London collection last spring. I think they may be sold out now. . .
