Handmade Christmas II

I'm not much of a quilter. In fact, the first one I ever made is here on my sewing room wall. I still need to bind it. sigh. However, I got inspired by some already made quilt blocks that made their way into my hands via a fabric donation. They were hand stitched together and I was worried if I tried to make a bag out of them, they would rip apart.

I gave you a sneak preview of Harmony's Christmas gift. She already opened it so I can show you the whole thing. . .

I hear she likes it! :)  Teresa

like is an understatement. LOVE it! In fact I believe I now have an adult "blankie" issue.....and no mom to force me to leave it at home.

The quilt is beautiful. It is so exciting when you can finish a big project like that and give it to someone who can love it more than you loved making it.

Thank you Robyn and C+C, it means a lot since I haven't made many quilts!
