Rent a Green Box is a company that I hope catches on nation-wide. Rent-A-Green Box was founded by Spencer Brown in Huntington Beach, California in 2005. Rent-A-Green Box is America's first, comprehensive, Zero-Waste pack and move solution made from a variety of post consumer, industrial and recycled trash. They provide relocating consumers, small business and corporations with an authentic and genuine Earth-friendly packing and moving alternative that's cheaper, faster and easier than using a new or used cardboard box to pack and move their property.
Currently, they are only located in Orange County and Los Angeles County in California. I hope it grows! Yippee! Teresa

Spencer is a friend of mine, and he definitely falls into the "force of nature" category. Once he gets an idea, he runs with it. I hope his idea goes national too.

This makes me so happy. My husband has been in the packing/storing/shipping business in Boston for around 13 years and he's been introducing these very bins (with his company's logo) into their business. I showed him this post and he says he knows all about this great company and that the bins are really taking off, especially with college moving season right around the corner.

Awesome! That is great, I'm glad your husband's company is using them too! I bought a bunch of Rubbermaid bins when we did our last move and then sold them to a friend that was moving and it worked out great. I hope this takes off all over!
