The Edith Freebie!

Bagette April's mom is awesome. I have never met her, but I know this because April is awesome and the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. Edith sends us fabric, knits super cute things for our sales, AND made me a couple of custom knitted items. She also sews a lot, I find a certain kinship in anyone who sews. And, most of all, she is responsible for putting April on this planet!

Oh, and did I mention, she sends us great fabric from her stash? Recently she sent us some really cute vintage pieces. So, I thought it was time to honor this great lady with a freebie from her stash. How about it? 11 cute, sturdy, funky bags up for grabs. That one in the front even has a pocket!

To Enter this freebie:

•LEAVE A COMMENT, IN THE COMMENT LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN THIS FORMAT: name(at)something(dot)com it is important to spell out DOT and AT so you don't get spam, if you DO NOT leave an email address, you will not be entered in the freebie.

•In your comment tell us something great about your mom.

•DEADLINE FOR THE FREEBIE IS 9pm(CST) Tuesday, Feb 19, 2013. (winners will be posted here and notified by email no later than Feb 20)

Don't forget to leave us your email!

We will ship bags internationally.

11 winners will be chosen at random.

Bagette Dad and I are LOVING reading the comments about your moms. If you win, we are going to send another bag along for your MOM! If you are like me and your mom is no longer with us, simply give it to another great person in your life.

I won't write that my mother the best on light. After all it not so. For each person the mother - the kindest person, the most devoted friend and the biggest love in life. My mother presented to me life therefore it for me always remains the most loved and native one on light. My mother forgave me my mistakes all life and suffered when I badly conducted myself. I am happy that my mother is live - she was on February 3 62 years old and I want to give her the best gift. If not mother us wasn't therefore them it is necessary to love all-all of them the best.

My mom is the best! Despite the fact that I'm across the country at college she still "walks me" back to my room most nights when I leave the library (I call her as I walk back so I have someone to talk to and walk with). And when I'm sick at school, she sends me the same love (and tough love for not fully taking care of myself) as she does when I'm home. I haven't seen my mom since the second week of January and I can't wait to see her in less than 2 weeks. Love you more!

Thanks for the give away!

We are six of us siblings and even in those times when the concept of Recycling was remotely known, she used to convert all our uniform skirts into pillow covers. Her old sarees were the bed covers. A fine designer, she designed all our dresses. Handing down dresses and recyling was thus weaved into the fabric of our family. She is simply awesome. <3 my Mom dearly!
