Workday Wednesday

Posted late due to freebie yesterday. However, I was working yesterday in my studio and noticing the autumn thread colors in my serger. The thread was a donation. Doesn't match, doesn't matter!

And, I'm working on a quilt for Little Girl. Little Man and Big Girl both have them. It's time.
I'm using lots of scraps and so many fun fabrics from my stash. It's a perfect quilt for that! I was inspired by this quilt found on Pinterest. It's so fun to make all the little houses. I think when it is all said and done I will have made a thousand of them!
I love being able to use such a variety of fabrics and colors and the dark grey ties them all together.
It's coming along slowly. I'll show you more progress next week. What are you working on? Teresa

I love the houses. I've been eyeing one of those on Pinterest myself. I see some familiar fabrics!

Thanks April. It's perfect for me because it doesn't have to be perfect!

LOL I never thought to use more than one color tread in my seger. I love it, have to try this, I love how it looks even though it is on the inside. Your quilt is starting to look really nice. Love the houses. Cant wait to see the finshed project.

Lori, actually, I rarely have all one color in my serger. I was sent a lot of lime green by mistake (so it was then free) a few years back so I have been using that too. It's nice to have free thread!

I'll post pics of the finished house quilt. Promise!

It seems like its really hard work, but you do it you never notice because its an art. I dont really like to sew, but I like to knit. Its my hobby http://www.ann4ever.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/p1090076.jpg - the last one...more than two years ago. But I am sure I'll be back :)
Thanks Teresa!
