It happens…

Sometimes, not very often, we finish bags only to have the fabric fail on us. This bag was all finished and ready to give away when I noticed the seem across the middle was coming apart. Can't be fixed, the way the fabric was woven, it would not hold. So, what do we do?
 Take it apart…
 And make handles of course…
Sigh. Teresa

Good job Teresa at least you figured it out before it was sent halfway round the world to someone!

Well that is a shame. But you used your creativity and made it work overall. Very good. You are now a few handles ahead of yourself.

Nice way to make lemonade out of lemons! You're amazing.

Yes, that is a good thing Marianne! I would be horrified if someone went to use a bag the first time and it fell apart!

Lori, yes, for some reason this fabric will still be fine for handles. Glad we can still use it!
