Special Orders

December 2015 I could hear crickets in my studio it was so quiet. I had no alterations and no special orders. I mean, it was nice because I could get a lot of other things done, of course. Fast forward to this December and the crickets have been drown out by the whir of sewing machines. I have had SO many special orders. Not complaining. I do love them! Here is a peek at some of them.

Jenn from Michigan wanted a monkey pouch for a friend. I had this monkey flannel on hand. I think it turned out darling. It would be so very cute as a first aid kit on the go!

My cousin Wendy in California ordered 3 wine bags a while back. Put the finishing touches on them this morning! Happy drinking!
This next order was such a fun project. One of my neighbors wanted overnight tote bags for her 4 girls. She came and picked out the fabric (and brought her cute baby!). Most of the fabric is from Ikea and they have a generous pocket on one side for toothbrush, phone, etc. I kinda love them.

Lastly, my friend Addie wanted a hiking pouch for her phone. It is made out of waterproof, sturdy Crypton fabric.
And includes a belt loop on the back. Happy hiking!
What are you doing? Getting some fun homemade holiday items complete? Do tell! Teresa

Teresa, as always, amazing robots! I admire your work ethic! Unfortunately now not to the pleasure, as everyone in the family is sick((((

Thanks Emilia. Underwear? Wow, that is an undertaking (pun intended!). My mom used to make our underwear when we were kids.

I found fabric from a baby blanket I was going to make my son 21 years ago. Well, I am going to finish it! That's for certain! Anita at QuiltloveforDomesticfelicity(at)gmail(dot)com

Thanks Tami, I have had that monkey fabric for a while. I made the kids jammies out of it when they were little.

Anita--

Yes, you have just reminded me that I have a quilt top I made for my daughter a while back that needs to be quilted. Maybe when she goes to college??
