Bestie in the Westie

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you've heard me talk about Harmony and her organic cotton fabric for years now. We have done several freebies (here, here, here, and here) of bags made from her awesome fabric. I love it! The feel of Harmony's fabric is second to none. Promise. And, this is one of our most popular blog posts. I made an organic cotton ironing board cover out of Harmony's fabric (link includes tutorial).

In addition to Harmony (California) and I (Colorado) being long distance besties, we also see each other in person more than you would think. Almost every year since 2008, my kids and I have been attending/working at Gualala Art Center camp in July. We love it! It's a chance to see Harmony and my kids have made several good friends there that they are excited to see each summer. (some camp posts: herehere, here, and here) And, remember that time I helped Harmony put in new wood floors?

Harmony is definitely one of those peeps I can't imaging not having in my life. I adore her, her spirit, her ingenuity, her spark, her creativity, and mostly her generosity.

One of Harmony's distributors is celebrating all the good she has done in the organic cotton world. Organic Cotton Plus has a lovely post/interview up about her AND they are having a sale on all Harmony Art fabric. YAY! Get some while it lasts!

Heart you Harmony! Teresa

A big, huge "Amen" for dear Harmony! She is definitely a very special person. And yes, her fabrics need to be seen and stroked to understand their beauty. Nice post, GBL.
