Yesterday. . .

The Bagettes and I meet on Sunday, this is what we do. . .

Bagette Carol ironing labels on and marking where the handles go. The BEST thing for marking handles are those cheap crayons that they give kids in restaurants. I have a ton of them and they are perfect, mark well and FREE!
Bagettes Kathleen and April cutting handles to size and pinking the ends. . .Bagette Alicia ironing behind a growing stack of bags that I am cutting out. . .
Handles I have cut out and thrown in a pile. . .
Looking at some of the interesting fabric that goes through the project. This is one of those fabric pieces that you cut out the parts and make a doll. . .it is now a bag. . .
We make about 100-150 bags a week. Bagettes Ann, Karen and I serge the bucket part of the bags. Bagettes April, Alicia, Carole and Kathleen sew the handles on. One Sundays, we do the cutting, ironing and marking.

Join us on Saturday at Whole Foods for a free bag! More on this later. Also, stayed tuned for the Earth Day FREEBIE!!! Have a good week. Teresa

wish i lived closer, i would love to be part of your bagging bee! I guess or now, me, myself and I will just have to keep working alone on my own machine. I still love it though!

Look at the fierce concentration on the faces of those handle cutters! :) Remind me to start wearing makeup to our sessions!

Oh, Andrea, we would SO love to have you as part of the group! Maybe you can convince a couple friends to start your own bag bee!

April, you should know by now that I almost always have a camera with me!
