Organic '11 FREEBIE!

Get it? Organic '11 (Ocean's 11). Ok, fine. It's alright, my husband says that I think I'm funny.

This is a good year for people to try to add more organic in their lives, how about it? Food, cotton, cleaning products, etc. How about organic fabric? If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that my good friend Harmony is an organic fabric designer and I adore her (and her fabric). But, maybe you don't know how much fabric she has donated to Green Bag Lady over the last couple of years. Lots. Bolts. At least 500+ yards. And we love it all. So pretty. And the feel. Oh, it feels SO good. You can tell it is not your typical cotton sateen the instant it hits your fingertips.

Up for grabs are ELEVEN bags out of Harmony Art organic cotton to give away just for you!

And that's not all! We would like your help getting new (don't already have a bag from us) people to enter the freebie. If you refer the most people to our site, you will win the following fun pack. . .
Included in the FUN pack are 6 gorgeous half yard pieces of Harmony Art organic fabric and 5 yards of each scrumptious Divine Twine color wound on vintage spools. Thanks to Whitney from Whisker Graphics for always being so generous with her eco-friendly Divine Twine.
How about it? Wanna enter? This is what you need to do:

If you DO NOT have a bag from us (you can be anywhere in the world), please do the following to win a FREE Harmony Art Organic shopping bag:

•LEAVE A COMMENT, IN THE COMMENT LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN THIS FORMAT: name(at)something(dot)com it is important to spell out dot and at so you don't get spam, if you DO NOT leave an email address, we will not hunt you down to send you a freebie, thanks.

•In your comment tell us which of the bags pictured above you would like to win. If you are a winner, we will TRY our best to match you with that bag.

DEADLINE TO LEAVE A COMMENT FOR THE FREEBIE IS MIDNIGHT (CST) TUESDAY, January 4, 2011
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To enter the FUN pack freebie (open to EVERYONE):

•Leave a comment with your name (can be a nickname) and your email address and tell us you are entering the FUN pack freebie.

•Do a blog post/email/facebook/twitter, etc. and tell everyone to come and enter this freebie for a bag. Make sure they tell us you sent them in their comment. Make sure they all use the SAME name for you!

•The ONE person with the most referrals will win the FUN pack! Deadline is also midnight (CST) Tuesday, January 4, 2011.

Good luck! Happy Organic '11! Teresa

I love all your bags, and this wonderful concept! I'm partial to red, but would be happy to use any of your beautiful creations. I've been using cotton bags for nearly 30 years, and don't know why more folks don't use them every day. Peace to all of you in the New Year! (Tracywatyousqdotnet sent me to you via Facebook.)

I would choose the one with pink flowers :) my daughter has eczema / allergies and we dress her in only organic clothing. Plus we make a point to have everything else organic too, like bedding. Once you read about how toxic non-organic cotton is, it's hard to go back!

Thanks for the chance!!

I have been carrying around number 8155 for a year now, and am registering it (MaryAnn Rohm Erin, Tn. My sister in law gave it to me! at Christmas last year which she also made two more (not numbered). (I think she has been a bagette). One of those she made from a sheet and had her 4 children put hand and feet prints on as well as writing their names. I am making bags for gifts for my bible study ladies. Your pattern, but since I don't have a serger, I am sewing french seams. I am all about making a dog bed and I wish I would have seen the ornament bags sooner. Love them. I love all the fabrics. I would like some labels for my bible study ladies - is that possible?
