Hello! Happy 2025

Hey there. It's been a whirlwind around here. Little Girl was here for Christmas break and went back to Nashville for her final semester on January 5. She turned 23 on January 6. Big Girl found a great apartment about 15 minutes from our house and we were helping her move. She took some furniture from our house which has prompted me to rearrange, clean out and declutter TONS of the rooms in our house. I love when things can move on to others but it sure takes a lot of work! Here are a few pics to recap the end of 2024:

1 & 2) My sewing machine ornament collection with a very cute one to add from Bagette Ingeborg.

3 & 4) We spent the week of Christmas at the cabin and even cut down a tree on our property to decorate. We did simple cranberry/popcorn strands and made cardboard ornaments with paint pens. Big Girl took it to a whole new level and made an entire village that we hung on the window. So cute and fun.

5) I have been saying for YEARS that I would make a sturdy bag to store the Christmas tree. I finally did it, zipper and all.

6 & 7) The Kalanchoe Marnieriana that I have had for over 8 years and have propagated to several other vessels bloomed! I am so excited this happened. I didn't even know they had flowers. It was such a pretty explosion of orange in my window.

8) Mr. Schefflera is going to bloom AGAIN this year. I have read so much about this plant and it is super rare for it to bloom in homes. I was stunned when it bloomed last year and didn't dare hope it would ever do it again…

9) I was honored to be asked to make bridesmaid pouches for a special bride. Each of the pouches represents one of the loves of the person she is giving it too. So sweet. :)
