Pet Bed Day
Pleased to report that I FINALLY got around to stuffing and finishing all the pet beds that I made several weeks ago. A woman from my neighborhood was collecting items for a pet rescue and the Humane Society. It was great motivation for me to finish them. I don’t relish stuffing them because it’s a messy job. 16 beds off to needy animals. I would like to tell you that I used all the stuffing but sadly I still have over 1/2 the pile left. More beds in the future! π±πΆππ

It’s wonderful that you finished all those pet beds! Making a dog bed by hand is such a caring way to help animals in need. I know stuffing a bed can be messy, but it really shows dedication and love for pets. A soft, padded dog bed gives dogs a cozy spot to rest and feel safe, especially in a shelter. Handmade beds often feel more personal and comforting compared to store-bought ones. It’s great that these beds will go to animals who really need them—they’ll finally have a comfy resting place. I also like keeping extra stuffing around because sometimes pets like thicker, cushier beds. Your efforts are inspiring and remind us how small acts can make a big difference for dogs and cats alike.
