It has begun. The start of the assessing, cutting, quilting, putting in zippers and finalizing pouches for the holiday season. I laid out all of my stock (not including tennis and sports, photo 1), then went through all my fabric and cut out fabrics from categories that appeared low (photo 2), and then separated them by color so I could do the quilting (photo 3). After the quilting is done, I cut off the excess batting and match them with zippers which then get sewn in (photo 4). The final step is sewing them together, ironing them and putting a ribbon on the zipper pull. People often ask me how long it takes to make a pouch, but I do them in batches like this so I'm never quite sure…🤷🏼♀️ Have you started holiday crafting? Do tell! Teresa
