1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup plain organic greek yogurt (I pretty much buy what is on sale)
3 big fists of fresh organic spinach
1 cup frozen organic peaches
1 cup frozen organic blueberries
I put the first 3 ingredients in the blender and run until smooth. Then, I add the spinach one fistful at a time. Next the peaches. I usually add them one at a time so the blender doesn't get mad. Then, I dump in the blueberries and let run until nice and smooth. Pour and enjoy, with a metal straw, of course. YUM!
For those of you who are not spinach fans, you can't even taste it. I promise! My kids love this and it's a great way to get their fruits/veggies! Try it and let me know what you think. Teresa
