They are both from fabric sample strips from THIS wonderful company. We usually make handles out of the strips but Aunt Frances took the time to sew them together to make beautiful and unique bags.
I really love the angle of the patchwork, yummy!
Thank you for the bags Aunt Frances, you are the best! TeresaRead more about Aunt Frances in the following posts:

Just found you on my twitter account. (twitter.com/wer4green) I manage an energy conservation program for our large rural school district. Read to lots of elementary schools about saving energy and going green in different ways. Would love one of your bags to show the students...I give out free bags I get from local businesses but your bags would be great to show for reusing/upcycling. Thanks for what you do...awesome! ~Connie, Chambersburg, PA (www.chambersburg.k12.pa.us/energy)
Teresa,
Thanks for the kind words about my sister, Bagette Aunt Frances. I will see her on Tuesday and show this to her, as she no longer has a computer.

I'm glad you will share this with Frances. Give her my love. Also, send the person in the comment above a bag.
Aunt Frances bags are BEAUTIFUL! She is amazing. I hope I get to meet her one day.
@Harmony--Yes they are and yes she is amazing! :)
I have an Aunt Frances bag and I love it!!! It is so beautiful! It was accidentally left in the car and my wonderful boyfriend (bless his heart) lol spilled pop on it. I put it in the wash not really thinking anything of it and what was a cream colored bag with extremely elaborate stitchwork is now blue because the thread bled.
Please help!!! what do I do can I fix this??? If I have to buy I new one I will but this was a gift and I'm not sure how to get my hands on another.
